Features And Capabilities Of An Electric Scooter Cooler

An electric scooter cooler is a fun vehicle that allows you to keep your food and beverages cold while you ride a motor scooter. This vehicle consists of a cooler on wheels with handlebars on one end. It comes in different sizes and has a range of capabilities. To ride a scooter cooler, you can sit directly on the cooler and steer with the handlebars. Here are some of the features that are currently available on a scooter cooler:

Wheels:  An electric scooter cooler has 3 wheels: one in the front under the handlebars and 2 in the back on either side of the cooler. This wheel arrangement allows this vehicle to easily make tight turns in any direction.

Handlebars:  The throttle on this vehicle is located on the handlebars alongside the handbrakes. To accelerate the scooter, turn the handlebar grips toward you. To stop the vehicle, squeeze the handbrake levers and they will grab and stop the rear wheels.

Models:  Depending on the brand and the size of the motor, each model has different capacities and limits. The higher watt electric motors are more powerful and can carry bigger loads:

  • 300-watt model:  This vehicle weighs approximately 75 lb. and has a 300-watt electric motor. It can travel at about 10 mph for 10 miles with a fully charged battery. The weight limit for this scooter is 200 lb.
  • 500-watt model:  This vehicle weighs approximately 85 lb. and has a 500-watt electric motor. It can travel at about 11 mph for 10 miles with a fully charged battery. The weight limit for this scooter is 250 lb.
  • 1,000-watt model:  This vehicle weighs approximately 95 lb. and has a 1000-watt electric motor. It can travel at about 12 mph for 10 miles with a fully charged battery. The weight limit for this model is 300 lb.

Standard Features:  An electric scooter cooler has an on and off switch and a charger port located at the rear of the vehicle. The electric motor and the battery compartment are located adjacent to the charger port next to the cooler. These three components are well insulated and completely sealed off from each other so that the cooler stays cold and the electric motor and battery stay warm and dry.

Charging:  To charge the battery of the electric scooter cooler, plug one end of the battery charger into the vehicle's charger port and the other end into a standard electrical outlet. Keep charging the scooter until a charger light in the rear of the scooter indicates that the battery is fully charged.

Footrests:  Electric scooter coolers have 2 retractable footrests at the front of the vehicle. Before riding the scooter, you can pull out the footrests and lock them into place. When parking and storing the vehicle, you can unlock the footrests and push them back in.

Extras Features:  The different models of electric scooter coolers come with a cup holder on the top of the cooler near the steering column. These vehicles also have a small access door to the cooler near the cup holder so you do not have to dismount the vehicle to reach the items in the cooler. These vehicles are available in white, red, yellow, blue, green, gray, and black.

Seat:  You can get an optional padded seat and backrest for use with an electric scooter cooler. This seat snaps into place on the top of the cooler and can be removed and stored when not being used.

Electric scooter coolers are light-weight, fast, and easy to maneuver. They are small enough to be carried in the trunk or back seat of most cars when not in use. With an electric scooter cooler, you can complete all of your errands, keep hydrated, and have fun all at the same time.
